Anyway, I followed my own advice (below) and sought some help as well. Feeling much better now. Here's the post from back then...
I'm sitting here at the computer trying to recognize and sort my feelings as I contemplate the changes ahead for me and my family. The view from my window will be mine for two more days. The expanses of paddock, the native Christmas trees in bloom among the gums, the families of black cockatoos demolishing pine cones, the cows and horses, the funny old tractor, the hills in the distance on the Nullakai Peninsula - I'm trading them all in for a suburban back yard and the sounds of traffic. I'm trading them in for neighbours. Pardon? Have I gone completely nuts?
Perth is looming fast. I'm just a mixture of mourning for all that I'm leaving behind, plus excitement for all that lies ahead. I'm pretty sure I'm doing the right thing, but who knows? I'll have to wait for that well known chap Hindsight to step in and say 'Aaaah yes, well you big silly, this is what you should have done, what were you thinking?' or 'Good move, could have told you.'
Change. It happens. Whether we want it or not. Change jumps up out of the blue and whacks us from behind; or sneakily lets us think we're in control when we plan our changes. Whether it be thrust upon us or whether it be self inflicted though, it's fundamentally up to us how we choose to deal with it. Because we always have a choice in our own actions and our own thoughts, don't we?

How much is enough? Well, you're the boss of you and you get to decide that one. Just feel until you're no longer living and hurting in the past and suffering over what you once had. Just feel until you're ready to look at and appreciate what you have now in the present. Feel it until you don't so much anymore.
Helps me ... hope it helps you too.
To all my Denmark clients, thank you for your custom. It has been a privilege being a small part of your lives and I look forward to seeing you on our many return trips to Denmark in 2013 - or in my suburban house with my neighbours around me, in Perth.
